Glowing city
When I reached the city centre I was surprised to see many of the buildings still standing defiantly in the continuing twilight. The buildings were all without lights and power.

Thousands of bodies were lying on the streets and building entrances, most of them in groups. People had listened to their instincts and formed small packs. But in the end also that had been a hopeless, doomed attempt in survival. It was numbing sight, like walking in a nightmare with a no way out.

I entered a supermarket and grabbed some essentials like canned food, a new flashlight and some batteries.
